I lost a little of the gained weight again today. 300 grams, but hey it all counts. I'm hoping I am going steady towards a new low. Sadly, I am 100% sure I won't make it before Indulgence Day, so I am severely debating whether I should skip it this week. I don't like being high in numbers like this, and I know that Indulgence Day will bring me back up. I am on a mission here, dammit! :) On the other hand, skipping Indulgence Day is just a mental thing, isn't it? If I take ONE day of indulging, eating twice of what I normally do, I will simply end at the same amount of calories consumed as I have burned. It's just a zero day. It's not a day that puts be severely behind. I gotta watch those carbs on Indulgence Day though. I am starting to realize that they DO play a factor on my mission. Damn you, carbs. :)

I am watching the movie Fat Head, very interesting stuff. If you guys haven't seen it, I recommend it. It's good info, and very entertaining too. It basically is the counter part to Supersize Me, and this guy is out to prove that if you use your head a little bit then you can eat at all the US fast food restaurants and still lose weight.

So, tonight is my rock out night. This means hanging with the band, playing music, talking, laughing and eating a couple of slices of white bread. My mission today is to cut the bread to half. Normally I have calculated two slices before I go, and that's what I'll have. This time, I will calculate one, stay low on the carbs and see if it helps me make some changes.

I am so close to my goal, it seems natural that it gets harder to lose the last weight. I just want to do everything I can to NOT have it slow down too much.

Anyways, I am off to work. I go in early to leave early. I have a little side mission this afternoon. My very special secret project. :)

Have a great weekend everyone! You know my weekend journals most likely will be short as always! Still, LIFE IS GOOD!

Perhaps cut the bread into the same number of pieces as you would have had with 2 slices, then your hand will have to make the same number of trips to the plate and you may not notice the difference? I would be tempted to skip the indulgence day just to get the result...but...this is a way of life for you now so.... Good luck XX

Thanks, Di. I AM tempted... but I think I will just "bite the bullet" and do as I normally do. The weight WILL come off, it's just fluke weight instability - or something like that.

I would be tempted to stick with indulgence day, just cut out all the "crap carbs". Mind you it may be difficult to get to the right no of calories.

Have fun "rocking out" never heard of Fatheads, is it the same guy from Supersize me? I loved that documentry, I haven't touched fast food in years because of it.

Just ran across your profile this evening ... well done!!! Of course I was curious about your "indulgence diet" as I have recently regained more than a few pounds and my body is being quite stubborn about losing this time around ... vs when I started almost 3 years ago. Sure looks like it has worked for you!!! Hope you had a rockin' good time tonight!!

Try the docu's Food Matters and Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. Very good watches and not as depressing as the title suggests. Fat Sick and Nearly Dead was VERY inspiring to hubby and me. I cried.
