KThompson12's Journal, 21 June 2016

I started something new yesterday, something that will be hard to maintain but seems brilliant in theory: 200 calories every 2 hours. I've done it before several years ago and I don't remember the specifics, but I do think I lost weight, and I don't think the diet lasted long.
I won't count carbs or fat, although I won't eat high carb foods, and fat will be limited since it's so high in calories.
Also I won't be too obsessed about eating exactly 200 calories or exactly every 2 hours, there will be a little wiggle room.
And I do believe I'll still have a cheat day or cheat meal.
Additionally, I'll exercise for 40 minutes 4x per week (20 cardio, 10 strength, 10 yoga/stretch).
Good Luck, Me! Let's get under 185!

I wish you well. The most recent research warns against frequent feedings because of the continual stimulation to secrete insulin, which is the fat storage hormone.

Good planning to keep tweaking your plan! Sometimes changing it up is just the right thing!

sounds like a diet I was on several years ago called the TWO BITE diet. I ate anything I wanted just couldn't have more than 2 bites of it. I lost 1 to 2 pounds a day, but I did exercise and did alot of walking. I think everything works you just have to stick with it.
