I feel for you. Our AC went out on the 4th of July weekend a few years ago. It went out on Friday night. Our repair man was out of town for that long weekend and when he got back he had so many customers he didn't get to us until Wed... Whew... On Sat I spent a lot of time at the library and went to church very early on Sunday. John bought a portable AC unit on Sunday while I was at church and he set it up in the bedroom so at least we had a cool sanctuary. The heat doesn't bother him as much as it does me.. We had to get a new heat pump unit this year... Good luck in getting it going.
