I'm uncontrollably spiraling downward with my weight. I CAN NOT believe I am so close to 300lbs. I feel so disgusting. 😩 Why is it so hard? :'(

I just said those words to my doctor who made me feel even worse...he told me I had really "plumped up"...well he was a jerk but it did motivate me to join a gym with my son!!! Hang in there you can do this!!!

Little lady, I LONG for 300. I am 6'0" and after losing 57 Pounds I STILL weigh 360. I have the added benefit of being strong enough to flip over cars, But STILL. You got this. This is nothing more than a large stone to be climbed over. And on the other side is the rest of your life. Don't feel disgusted with yourself. Count this as a challenge to be overcome.

Please don't give up. One day at a time and it does get easier and you will be rewarded!! Better health, better outlook, exercising becomes fun and challenging. Folding up those bigger size clothes to give away made me feel really successful !

Are you taking any anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medication? Certain ones can make you gain a lot of weight. If so, talk to you doctor to see what adjustments or alternative medications you might try. Some can help you lose weight. But you have to find which one's work for you as an individual.

Feels! When I started in February I was at my highest weight ever... 306!!! Then I saw something posted on my friend's facebook page that kicked me into action. It said "losing weight is hard... being fat is hard... choose your hard!" You can do this girly!

Might be a stupid comment, but ditch any quick carbs, which are mostly junk. Soda, spirits, bread, chips, crackers, puffed rice cakes... you get the idea. If you're diabetic, find a doctor who will work with you to lower your insulin dose to accommodate a lower intake of carbs. You can do this. It's more of a mind game than anything else. Gather some buddies for some support. I'd be happy to be one.
