Turkey and Chicken is easy for me as long as it is not DRY. The emotional connection with your bike, I get it, it is the same for me even though I have a different bike my first one was still my first just like your first love.

Thanks guys! Yeah the first bike thing is hard. It is easier to think someone else will learn and get to enjoy it like i did. And I rather see someone learn on a 250 then jump right into A 600+ CC motor which is sometimes hard for starters

Good work staying on track with your plan...I moved from chicken breasts to chicken thighs a while ago and realized I like them better and they can be juicy if I prepare them correctly. DUCATI !!!!!

I'm on day 2 of my first Whole30 so no expert but prepared a lot of meals on Sunday to get our family through the first week with a bit of help! Made a seriously delicious chili that I wish I had more of because it would have made for a delicious lunch choice the next few days...but it was so good we mowed it all down at dinner last night. The "chocolate chili" from meljoulwan.com (her blog has tons of whole30 recipes!) was a hit so I thought i'd throw that out to ya. Keep up the good work!!

How about avocado in lieu of mayonnaise? Avocado is a good whole 30 item. There's a mayo recipe in the Hartwigs' Whole 30 cookbook. But maybe you don't care for mayo and all that's a moot point.

Funny, I have a pretty well off friend, that races a Ducati. I tell him, you are getting too old, my friend. He tells me, "I know, Warren!". They are fast amazing bikes, but don't lose your life over it. lol

Chili is a great idea. This weekend I have planned to make Italian wedding soup for next week meals. See I am already planning for the weekend. I have some meals up my sleeve for the weekend atleast. This week though I got a few ideas. I am going to make baked chicken tenders with whole30 approved ketchup, hopefully I can make enough for the next few days.

@Glen - I drive a black Mazda Miata all year round! I put snow tires on it and away we go!
|
@ glen- I fell in love with my first car too. And had to pass it down to my brother then sister when I went off to college. My sister can be stupid- she was speeding and crashed it into a tree. I can honestly say I was so upset about the car. But sometimes you need to let things go.
@suzytrws I love chicken- I like making whole chickens every other week. But turkey just gets dry. I only eat turkey maybe twice a year anyway! However I eat potatoes. They give me energy to workout and I eat them every now and then

I have that SAME issue with turkey and chicken. I think its because when I was first starting my weight loss, its all I ate, and my fiance would always overcook it so it turned out incredibly dry. I still can only eat it in certain circumstances. Maybe there is another reason behind it, but regardless, it really stinks because they are so easy and such good sources of protein. Personally I try to stick with fish as my lean protein whenever available.

Oh wow I am glad I am not the only one!
I usually can eat chicken when I make paleo chicken tenders- or paleo chicken stirfry or BBQ. But it all requires some sort of sauce or something. When I see people eating plain grilled chicken breast I gag. LOL

If you meat is too dry, you can chop it fine or grind and add mayo and seasonings to make a chicken or turkey salad
