I made a mistake on Monday.. we made a batch of homemade raspberry almond biscotti with chocolate coating. Now... two days later, I've successfully eaten all of them. About 16 in all, my daughter may have helped with a few. I was powerless to the amazing crunch and flavor. The real problem is that the sugar just causes more cravings for chips, pizza and many other things that I can't even bring myself to admit that I've eaten in the past 3 days. Chicken nuggets, french fries... OMG what is wrong with me!>!>!>????? I know better!!!!!!!!!!

I still haven't weighed in. Week 1 goals to finish C25K week2 was a total success AND I started resistance training my upper body 2x last week. I took Sun and Mon off... mostly because life happened on Monday, but I'm on track with Wk3 Dy1 completed yesterday and some training today. My excess guilt has kicked in full blast today - I watched a beachbody infomercial and purchased Cize today, after purchasing Piyo yesterday. LOL They'll be here next week. I'm excited to get some dance moves under my belt.

All summarized - I haven't conquered my sugar addiction yet, but I'm getting back into my fitness regime. Good stuff. I think I will do a 5 day detox next week to get my cravings under control. I have 5 months to drop 30 lbs... Holy moly, it seems totally doable... just hang in there! (yeah, I'm talking to myself)

Good work with your exercise commitment. I'm totally with you regarding sugar and flour products leading to craving for more of the same. I just started fat secret food tracking and eliminating all those products 10 days ago, but I'm amazed at the degree to which my hunger has decreased and no cravings. If I baked biscotti, I'd eat them all, too. Full elimination works so much better and is easier than one might think. Head has to be in the right place for it, though.

Been there, though in my case it was homemade, frosted sugar cookies that I couldn't stop eating. It was terrible!!! That was in 1986 and I have never made them since. Like 'Determined' I am really derailed by the sugar, flour AND fat combo. All is well if I never touch the stuff. It's rough when you experience that fall but you woke up and all will be well.

Funny, I don't have the nerve to throw away all the horrible food staring me in the face. I could cheat from here to eternity with this stuff. I understand your feelings.

It happens to the best of us. But don't give up. each new meal is another opportunity to get back on path. No need to wait till tomorrow to get back on track.... anyways, we all deserve a little cheat once in a while. DOn't beat yourself up over it. I had 2 big mac's today. but I'm counting my calories and that just meant i didn't have too many other calories for the rest of the day... eating spinach leaves and drinking lots of water. moderation and balance is key. never feel discouraged. Nothing is wrong with you. lol. We are are on a journey for a better health and body. We've all got your back sis. :-)
