Good morning!! I went to Texas Roadhouse last night for dinner with my husband and son. I made a meal plan ahead of time and managed to stick to it. I did with only one bite of a yeast roll, which is heaven btw. No app, my entrée was an 8oz sirloin and a plain sweet potato. They made it hard on me by overcooking my steak the first time. (severely overcooked. I ordered med. rare, and I got med. well) When they took my steak back they left me one sweet potato "to nibble on" and promised to bring me a fresh one with my new, properly cooked steak. It was hard to not nibble on the sweet potato while husband and son were happily chowing down but I managed. Manager was very apologetic, and my meal was on the house. I ended the day with just over a 600cal deficit.

But in even more exciting news my husband made some healthier choices as well. I have been trying to emphasize the importance of making changes you can live with long term, not strict short term restrictions that leave you feeling deprived. Instead of the biggest steak possible he ordered a twelve ounce, instead of beer an unsweetened ice tea, and instead of a few only one dinner roll. I'm very proud of him. I'm a big fan of his, and I need him to live a really long time.

Hope all of my buddies are doing equally well. I have a busy day planned, included a trip to the gym! Talk to you again soon :)

Fantastic evening for you!.. Lead by example! My husband quit Coke two years ago and now drinks water all the time. He only drinks soda on special occasions.
