Nicole Strong Barrett's Journal, 16 January 2016

Mon-Fri I stick too my plan so well. Gym, water, food, sleep...all perfect. But from Friday night to Monday am, I lose my head. It's like I feel like I have been set free from prison and just eat whatever I want. Anyone else share this struggle? Any ideas?

Yes, every week.it's my hardest time because if I'm not working, I'm at recess! So I try to plan fun activities and pick some new things to cook. I joined the challenge of no alcohol in January and that is actually helping me make better food choices. I can honestly say I feel better on Monday mornings because I tried to stay away from junk. I'm not perfect so I don't worry about it. 80% Saint, 20% devil...not too bad.

Hmmm...if you look at my profile and then look under my groups - there is one called, "Operation Weekend Watch" - maybe we should resurrect the group and support each other on weekends?

The weekend is the devils playground. It seems that during the work week we are focused on routine to get us through the week...the weekend is our free time. Free time is FUN time and we tend to lose it. I also find it challenging to be as regimented on the my days off, but that's when we have to put that extra effort in and be extra diligent. You are NOT alone in this challenge!!!
