only 35k steps this week a very sad low seeing I had been hitting over 60-near 70k in weeks past. I took no walks because of all the exhausting work oh and the waiting for ppl to show and rain. But no excuses I was lazy about it. I might have found time somewhere had I really wanted too. And I know I got exercise in with the work but I know I will miss getting walks in when there is not place outside to take a walk during the winter. With hip and knee problems I don't walk on ice unless necessary. OK I am going to try to make those walks at least 3 days this week but we have several days that will be in the 90s Monday and Tues (87F today) and I may have the contractor those days so if I can walk it will be very early.

I will get some walking in today but not exercise level walking. The town has a *flea market* in town center and we usually set up in front of our hall. But we have been too busy this year prep for it. But we will walk around and avoid all the goodies and see if there is anything good out. There is an antique place that I will look for a Hoosier cabinet. Hubby has already warned me on spending big bucks on furniture so it might be wishful thinking.

Just got dressed for the flea market and I am down a size in my bras and shorts. Was a 20-22 and now an 18.

Then after the morning doing that we return and open our shop earlier than norm and get back to that issue we discovered last night in transioning from GR to LR. Most of what we did was fine but DH forgot wee needed to turn around the other direction with spline and planned for a grove to put side tongues in for the boards when we need a tongue to put a grove over. Simple fix but we wasted a 5 foot board... it had some bad places in it but now the only board long enough is the best board we have so we will be opening more boxes of boards (had to anyway) to see if we get another that long.

I know I said a bad board - we took the rustic wood look because it had all those cool knots and color changes that added so much character to the floor. Which means we bought overages because some of the knots are crumbling or there are splits on boards or they are what we call sock catchers because they have hairline splits all over the board that will catch on socks. so we weeded alot of those out and put them under dishwasher, stove fridge areas - or we have not sued them at all. may be used in other side projects for table tops and the like. We will see.

So yes... another busy busy day.

Have a terrific day!! A big CONGRATS! on the smaller size! Your house is getting there quickly! I was feeling guilty yesterday thinking of your work, not getting much done on mine for a couple weeks. Enjoy your break from working going to the flea market today! I wouldn't worry much about steps with all the work you are doing.

Your weight loss in the amount of time is amazing and inspiring! About how many calories do you eat a day? Is walking your main source of exercise? :)

I am at 1200-1400, occasionally I hit 15-1600 and sometimes under (not often). And 30 or less carbs most days I do not like to go over 40 TOPS. I have been doing major construction/renovation on my house 5 rooms starting <2 weeks after I started this WOE. Walking is a source of exercise as much as it is stress relief and meditative for me. I like to walk early in the day mostly before the rest of the world is awake and enjoy the sun peaking over the mountains here in Maine. Sometimes I hope I see one of the elusive moose but it has yet to happen. I have been sleeping late and had all kids of contractors in and out lately and my current schedule of things to get done has making it difficult to get out when I want to. I need to get my rear out of bed when I first wake and walk instead of trying to lay there and sleep when I usually don't. Oh well walked at the flea market 2.5 hrs then came home and painted those darn blocks now off to get those hard wood floors installed.

Kitten, The reno she is doing is hard physical labor. Tons of exercise! It's dang hard physical work.

I bartend and I Google my job and I typically burn 1800 calories at work. I added that to my exercise. It's just like walking. Try googling your activities for calories burned
