TGIF!!! Well, my son's team lost the Championship game last night, so that was a bummer, but the only lost by 1, so they can't feel too bad. Really as soon as they got their second place medals and realized someone had gotten them cookies and goodie bags, they forgot about the game altogether. We're done now for the summer with evening activities. Hooray!! Now they will just be swimming and playing with friends.

I didn't get a workout in because of the game last night. Tonight will be a DVD workout after work and tomorrow more DVD's and maybe a walk or run. Our 5K is next weekend on the 4th, and I'm not feeling super confident. It's always fun to do those races and it's for a good cause, so I'm not too worried, and all I can do is my best. When I have people running in front of me I usually can push myself harder, so that might just help. :)

Eating wise, I've been doing okay, but baseball has thrown a wrench in the works because we've had a lot of grab and go nights, so a lot of hot dogs or sandwiches. Now that that's over hopefully we'll get back into a healthier eating routine. I've been using protein powder this week because I've been craving meat, and those cravings have gone down, so I think the extra protein has helped. Next weekend will be hard because we'll be out of town so I'm going to have to prepare ahead of time for what I'm going to eat. With my diet it's easier to say no to things, but it's harder to find things I can eat. If nothing else I can run to the store and grab a salad.

Plan ahead and bring protein powder to mix when needed. You can do this - you are doing so well and feeling so much better! Congrats on the hard work!
