Hope the rest of you have beautiful weather, though looking at the national radar--rain for many. We had at least 2 inches overnight, haven't been outside but the empty pup water bowl on my back step was empty and it's completely full. We may have a few hours with no rain if I'm guessing the radar right.

Last 2 days before going back to work on Tuesday. I am thankful to have a job as it pays the bills with a little extra but would love to stay home more. The weather will probably be pushing me back indoors much of the day.

Exercise will again be mostly working on my house. All those totes need to be hauled to the attic now that the coon residue has been cleaned and every thing is dry. Weight lifting and stair climbing. I did do 50 sit ups yesterday on my exercise ball will try to get in a few more today.

I also need to make some bread, clean the frig, and probably make some soup or something so I have food for work lunches.

Some crazy ad was taking over my computer---hate that!!

Weather is much nicer here today, I am taking the boys to the ocean I think. Be careful with the stair climbing, hauling totes around makes it hard to see where you are going.

Rain passed through here yesterday onto you, I suppose. As Nicole said, be careful going up and down the stairs with totes.... I agree with you, I too would like to be able to stay home more. I retired once and had a couple of years of leisurely living, met my DH and have worked alongside him every since. Maybe one of these days.... Be careful...and enjoy your last couple of days of being off the clock:)

Nichol, I miss the ocean. One of my favorite places in the world is Bar Harbor. Linda we had a couple days with no rain so able to get some things done outside. I have enough projects inside, as you know!!! Taking a short break. All is good. Progress was made inside and out. Actually I'm hauling totes to the attic, it's a drop down ladder stairway so everything is dragged behind me. I learned the first year I was here not to pack anything very heavy!! It's now a system and I keep my phone in my pocket just in case. A coolish day as the heat is a killer in that attic with the 4 feet of insulation in most of it! Gwen, hope that is good for you. I would still work if I "retire" but not as much and do things I love to do. Maybe when I'm 70 or meet some amazing interesting man that is set financially LOL So far no luck on that aspect--happy as I am.

After a cold week it's perfect here. Warm, sunny, slightly breezy. Aaaah. And then they're talking pop up storms tomorrow afternoon. At least it won't be cold.

I met my prince but we didn't get married until I had turned 67....so who knows what can happen! Being happy with who you are and where you are is the most important thing....he was just the icing on my cake!

MSbuggirl, I envy your weather, but I'm getting some much needed things done, that's good. Gwen, yup, it would have to be someone pretty special after 2 marriages that turned abusive in their own ways. My first is the dad of my children, married 22 years, we have come to terms and are friends, the 2nd I never want to see or hear from again (no reason to). My life is good.

YAY!! My world is good!! 3:00 and I'm up to almost 8,000 steps. All 12 totes safety hauled to the attic. Just a few light weight things to store up there at the moment as I have room to spare, wasn't sure as I now have less floor space. Nice that there are no critters to worry about. A load of stuff delivered to the Salvation Army thrift shop. I have a spare room again!!! instead of a storage space! The rain quit for a bit so will get the patio tiles out of my car and hopefully start loading my daughter's and her DH's stuff in my car to haul to them tomorrow. Also one frig cleaned out, a few things left in the 2n'd one that need to go away. First a run to the corner market for some onions to make some split pea soup with the ham bone I have.

Your hubby has been busy, hey laundry takes time. I need to haul mine up from the basement, maybe tomorrow now that I have another closet available...it's putting it away that's the issue--kinda like the dishwasher. Smiles.

Now to track down all my daughter's stuff that is stored in my house... Dang it's here and there....Load it in my car for tomorrow's delivery. I do not remember where it all is. Dang, I don't have a big house, some I know buried somewhere in the garage. Some is done. Now to find the rest.

Whew!! car is loaded, I've probably missed some things but that's ok. Per the radar the rain is moving back in-- it's actually been sprinkles for quite some time. Now to figure out some sort of dinner. Tomorrow, a trip to DD's and also to habitat for humanities with stuff from my house. Feels good to get rid of this excess stuff!!! Course lots depends on the 100% rain chances. LOL
