I'm noticing as my diet goes on, that I'm not as hungry during the week. I still have problems on the weekend, but during the week, I'm not into eating, not very hungry. I think it's because I eat the same foods and they are boring. I cooked Salmon tonight. It was a huge piece and I asked hubby to eat half. He wouldn't. It just finished cooking on the grill and I received a call from my sister and Mom who were on their way over. I took my dinner outside to eat, but just felt full. I ate a little because I knew I had to, then my two dogs ate 90% of it. Anyone else feel like they don't want to eat during the week when dieting? It's boring. LOL.

Maybe it's time to change your menu?? Add something new to some old favorites? With the summer squashes coming out and all the veggies sure to help you change up a little!

I have had days like that. But it is like Julia said, add a new recipe and I shift into pig out mode again. So, for me, my best results come from boring.

if you are looking for a long term lifestyle change, all of your meals should be somewhat appetizing to you - otherwise you will "reward" eat on weekends and not maintain a loss over the long term - what if you use spices and make veggies you enjoy? My food diary looks like I eat the same thing all the time BUT I truly picked things I like such as avocado, nuts, bacon and eggs, etc. so I can do it over the long term. Good luck!

I'm not into food as much a I used to be. Yes, I have cravings, but I find if I give it time, I can talk myself out of it. Then, there are moments where you don't need to eat it all, but have one bite (a bite of steak, no more). LOL. I'm starved tonight. We went shopping, I bought some boneless skinless chicken thighs and hubby said the grill messed up (not hot enough?). He's cooking them still and it's almost too late to eat.

I do have days when I don't feel very hungry, but they seem to be offset by days when I just can't seem to stop thinking about food. Weekends have always been a challenge for me as there is often a lot of social activity. Even when it is just having the family home together, my weekday routine is not there and I have to really commit to making good choices. That is sometimes much harder than it sounds. I appreciate those days when I am not too hungry! :)
