Day 13 of 14/28 of my diet/challenge

I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Things go so much smoother and easier when we believe in ourselves and keep positive. Life can be so much more delightful if we take control of what we want and be more caring to one another.

I found this article: Looking at Your Glass Half Empty . It seems to make some good points that I wanted to share.

Quote:
If you see the glass half empty, there are several natural reactions you are likely to have – feeling bad about what is missing, resenting what is missing, getting defensive about what isn’t there. These reactions make it harder to enjoy what is in your glass. On the other hand, when you see your glass half full, there is a natural tendency to value what is in your glass, thus increasing the chances of enjoying it. This reaction naturally enhances your pleasure with what is in your glass.

Remember to look at the glass as half full than half empty.

don't remember where I saw this but it stuck with me: glass half empty, glass half full, just be thankful you have a glass!

I agree - attitude IS everything as Glen said. I just believe in my choices and follow my plan, and remember why I want to lose the weight and feel better physically.

Thanks for sharing Glen! I think we sometimes feel as if everyone else's life is easy breezy, when it's not. They have things that they have to go through too. Rckc, that's a great outlook. Henne, that's good you are a positive person because you may never know whose life would probably need brightening up. HCB, you are so diligent and determined. You are definitely going to succeed. Thanks SuccessThisTime! You keep on keeping on too!
