FOLLOW THE PLAN STUPID!

The other day someone's comment reminded me of (the above) encouragement some of us FS old timers used to shout at each other. When we finally find a plan that works, all we have to do is follow it. How much simpler can it get?

Well, remembering that advice, yesterday I managed to stay 100% on plan. And, believe me, it felt great!

Diet Calendar Entry for 09 April 2015:

Nicholaix--I feel so much better eating healthy. I've gone into Duncan Donuts two days in a row--for coffee only, at lunch time. The other stuff doesn't even faze me. I know what I want right now.

Buffy you are an inspiration to me staying on plan. Tomorrow I WILL stay on plan. Awesome work and thanks for reminding me to just do it.

Buffy, I call myself stupid as well when I eat/drink things that make me feel awful. I know better, I know what they will do to me, I am stupid for making choices that will make me feel awful both physically and mentally.

I love writing down ( or typing down) my entire day's worth of food. Break., lunch, din., snack. I know EXACTLY what I'm allowed to eat, there are no mysteries. I also make sure to save one delicious, sweet, treat for the end of the day ( I have it at about 8:00 pm). My favorite snack right now is a fruit smoothie ( I use the nutribullit to make it but a blender will work). Combine 1 cup light vanilla almond milk (30 cal.) ; 1 cup frozen fruit of your choice (80-120 cal.) ; 2 T. Chopped walnuts (100 cal.) (optional). Blend until smooth!!!!😇🍓 no guilt!!! So it's about 130 cal. W/o the nuts and 230 with them. And remember, some fat is necessary in your diet in order to digest food properly. Make sure you use healthy fats when you do eat them, however. Examples are avocados, sunflower seeds, walnuts, flax seeds, olive oil. There are others, just google "healthy fats". See ya!

Ps, I have, in the past, lost up to 70 lbs. in about 6 months using the food log method and eating about 1,400 cal a day and walking 2 miles a day, 5 times a week. I gained it back over the last 10 years but I'm trying it again. I would love to repeat my success from before - I went from a size 20W to a size 12. Whoopeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
