ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

hummm...so the veggies have kinda fallen by the way side...i will get back to them tonight as i will be home to cook...

i have some chicken and artichoke hearts...will figure something out...

the exercise class was a little disappointing...i had 15 people signed up and only 3 showed...however those 3 liked it and last night i had a couple more say they were planning on coming next week...

i started with the walk away the pounds 1 mile...and then we did about 20 minutes of yoga stretches...the 3 did not care for the yoga so i am going to break out a cd that i have of stomach/core short sessions and a stretch program...i would have to say overall that im ok with what happened and will wait to see what next tueday brings...

i so wanted to eat a hugh pizza because of the stress - however i did not eat it...lol...hopefully the stress level will drop with each class...

have a wonderful fs evening...

Congratulations for the pizza avoidance! Sorry about the low turnout, but once word gets out I'm sure more will come. Besides, you're getting a workout at the same time, so it's all good! :)

im w/ info, but it took me a while to appreciate yoga also. i thought it was a waste but i was sooo wrong. im sure those 3 will tell others, and the class will slowly grow. perfect for you to get use to it.

Hey if they signed up for YOUR class they should do what YOU tell them to do! Hehe. Hopefully you get a bigger showing next week. Incorporate hand weights, too!

Some people think that just because they're not sweating buckets, they're not working hard. But making the core stronger and improving balance takes lots of energy!!! And changes happen to the body. Rock on, yoga master!!!

Thank you for the report about your exercise class instruction. Welcome to my world. I don't mean to sound "sassy." Teaching something you enjoy to others who may - or may not enjoy the content as much as you do. How do you like those "walk away the pounds" DVD's? What are they like? I have seen them at Target and Wal Mart but I was timid about buying them. FacingForward is so right about yoga and the core. Go Get 'em Teach! Love ya more than vinegar and oil Baby!

poet...i liked it better when you loved me more than veggies...i like vinegar and oil..lol...your not sassy...just more like a mom...(still love me?)...the walkaway the pounds - mine is all 3 on one cd and it came with the hand held weights...i have only done the 1 mile and i really like it...i will do the 2 mile tomorrow...i will take the yoga with me and see what happens, if nobody wants to do it i will still do it myself after they leave...motivation is my biggest down fall...so if im there and started i'll do it anyway...does that make sense...

So - do you actually walk in place or do you do aerobics-like moves? If I am going to walk - I want to actually go someplace. Do you know what I mean? SAY - I left you a note over on my journal about CHALLENGE IDEAS. Nope. I do not want to help administer the challenge and I am still timid about being a team leader but - you know me - I will be a rah-rah super involved participant. You and Imluuvd run the best freakin' FS challenges on the planet!

good on you with your class! im sure youll get more as time goes on, im with the others on the yoga, maybe incorporate it for the last 10-15 mins,see how that goes, i mean they know you have to have flexibility and stretchability dont they??, and good stuff on the pizza front-you go girl!

15 signed up and only 3 showed up? Around here we pay in advance for classes, that seems to inspire a person to show up. Sorry about that happening. I am proud of you for not giving into stress, not eating to make you feel better. :-)

The Ten Commandments? There you go - the theme for the next challenge - ta da - a VBS Challenge - as in "Thou Shalt Not Have Ten Slim Fasts a Week and Fool Thyself into Believing These are Healthy." No someone would cry "Blasphemy!" You'd better count me in when you do arrive at a challenge idea. Love ya Ms. Vegetable - You.

I've been trying to assemble the proper combination of veggies and other healthy foods the past few days (yes, again...) . It's really hard to get it together; and, as usual, it's even harder to maintain. I enjoy reading your recipes and seeing your great appreciation for the proper preparation of food. Thanks for your provocative question this morning.
