Panigale1199's Journal, 19 March 2015

I ate great all day yesterday, when I got home from work I decided we should go to the store to get a few things we needed. I was so sore form my Tuesday's MMA classes I decided to take a break yesterday.
Since we were out late we ate at Cheesecake Factory. I had the lemon herb chicken. Which I thought was healthy. I finished the mashed potatoes and part of the chicken and I was so full. I have the leftovers for lunch today which is just the chicken and some carrots.

My bf wanted desert. I sure as heck didn't so I asked for a coffee and fresh strawberries with a little whipped cream to treat myself...
Desert came out.. THE WAITER gave me a CHEESE CAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES. Urgh! And before I could say it was not what I ordered he was gone. My boyfriend just laughs and I ate half of it before I felt like I could barf. Worst part was I didn't even enjoy it because I did not want to cheat!!!! So here I ate cheesecake...didn't enjoy it...now I feel like all my hard working out from classes is down the drain..and I feel like a fat whale all over again =( I just want to starve myself right now lol

We all slip occasionally. Just don't use it as an excuse to slip more often! You'll do fine and next time someone offers you something you really don't want to eat, you'll remember this experience and just leave it alone.

One meal or dessert won't ruin your weight loss progress, you are doing just fine.

It is all about choices, isn't it? I would have sent the cheesecake back...but that's just me. LOL

It is. I should of sent the cheesecake back. I was a little embarrassed. I am going to try not to get overly upset since tonight I am doing back to back classes.. about 2h 45min of working out again.

I would find it nearly impossible to resist if a piece of cheesecake was placed in front of me! Here's a cheesecake/MMA story for you though...yesterday, my kids had about an hour at home before heading to their MMA class. I suggested they have some water and a small snack if they were hungry. My son cut himself a giant piece of the cheesecake (from his band fundraiser :( ) and ate the entire thing. When it was time to head out, I found him in bed, moaning. I could't help giggling at him, thinking that it served him right to get a tummy ache before he had to go grapple. Thankfully, he survived without exploding. :)

Oh boy!!!! If I had cheesecake before MMA class I would pop! My previous MMA class I had two crispy thin cookies about an hour before class. I seriously felt like they were going to come up after grappling. I learned my lesson =(

Hey the good thing is at least you only ate half of it. That's a good thing right? If I were you i probably would have at the whole thing
