Anyone who looks at my food journal today will know I went to an Asian buffet for lunch. But instead of heading for the fried wontons, spring rolls, and tempura, I had steamed shrimp, mussels, a little of the veggie and meat dishes, and a little of the sushi. Still felt like I ate to much, but at least it was healthier than usual, and I had a small dinner to compensate (besides I still felt full by dinner time).

I once had a bad reaction to shrimp, so I don't eat tons of it any more at one sitting like I used to. Never tested allergic to it though. I am allergic to mushrooms, bummer. But lots of other good and healthy food out there.

Did you stay away from the white rice?

Yes, they only had fried rice on the buffet so I walked past that. I can have rice on my diet, but I prefer the brown rice anyway.
