Thanks everyone. I've taken some advise and decided to tweek my food intake after 4 1/2 months to more towards the LCHF diet. I'm still aiming towards staying under 1800cals. per day, but I'm going to try to up the proteins closer to 200g and lower the net Carbs to around 100 or so. For now, I'm going to try to keep the fat grams under 100, but I'll revisit this if necessary as I learn what works for me. I've found that many of the food items I've been eating are loaded with Carbs! I'm also finding that getting the protein up to the 200g level isn't as easy as it sounds either. I'll take a few more days to transition over since I have NO intention of throwing away these energy bars that are higher in Carbs, but I'll get there soon. Anyway, I'm always willing to listen to advise from others who are on this type of plan.
