well I did lose about 30 pounds last year. that is something. I need to follow a PLAN. no plan no progress. that is what's missing right now. I hate to say it because it sounds really hard but I decided this morning to do the whole30.

last night wasn't too horrible although i had a few glasses of wine which I don't usually do; I stuck to sashimi and healthier options at the sushi dinner; . . . .

a P L A N ! ! ! I need to do some soul searching and I know i can follow a plan but I have been lost without one.

Happy New Year; to health and happiness and success all around! xoxo Tulip!

Good for you on losing 30 lbs! A plan is what you make it. Your lifestyle, tastes, budget, time and body is what dictates what you may do to reach your goals Someone with a larger spendable income and extra time may do gym memberships, personal trainers or a home gym. Those who are short on time may opt for short HIT sessions at home. Others may do walks, biking, dancing, weights, etc. It doesn't matter if you do Paleo, Mediterranean, Atkins, Weight Watchers, South Beach diet, etc. plans. Any good plan will have you staying under your RDI, portion control, be nutrient dense and exercise. It is always good to cut back on sodium and sugars, except in fruit and naturally occuring sugars in veggies. People with slower metabolisms is a body issue than can be worked. Other body issues might be chronic arthritis, bursitis, sprains, muscle pulls, etc. Again, it is all personal. Sometimes it is trial and error what works for an individual. Have a great New Year!

I agree! If we dont choose a plan,we choose to fail. We must workup a plan then work that plan! Kattay is correct,a plan is what YOU make it.No 2 people are alike, not even twins! So usually trial & error is what will work best for everyone. Try a plan,if it doesnt work try another one. But be sure its the plan that fails to work & not the person. Sometimes we fool ourselves. :) Congrats on your 30 lbs down!
