Re-energize's Journal, 01 December 2014

Oh my sometimes this is very depressing...I follow my diet reasonably well, and walk 1 and a 1/2 hours at least 5 days a week at a brisk pace and then see stuff like this...Even Thanksgiving I ate sensibly, no stuffing, or gravy or mash potatoes, just a bit of sweet potato and white turkey meat with salad...and had one bite of pumpkin pie/no crust...and it infuriates me that I see no loss this week..what the hang is that about???
What do I have to do....cart wheels down the road to loose...LOL!
Shoot I will have to wait until next week to see what the old body will do to annoy me again..lol
Any suggestions FS friends...I think I need help...this staying in the 160's is frustrating....
OK enough whining! Now that we have turned over another calender page into Dec. I will focus on the good stuff..we have our lights up, and will do a little decorating today...most of my Christmas things are at home as we are snowbirds and travel south for winter...I have a couple of things here but no Tree...forgot it at home...Oh well certainly won't buy another as I have at least 4 at home..lol
That's the big problem with leaving home for 5 or 6 months...things get left behind..as we rent a place and have to bring those essentials with us....Well so much for idle chat...Hope all of you are doing a great job with the journey..I will now go off to surf and see/read your journals.
Keep up the good work as I know you all will succeed.

I guess your metabolism is slower and you shouldn't go above 1200 calories per day. You should stick to healthy foods so not much processed carbs and too much sodium, you don't want to retain water. Your exercise plan looks good, you can add some swimming or bicycle ridding, that could help too.

You have been having good success so far. You have had a few bumps in the road as we all have but your overall progress looks good. You may have to do a little tweaking but keep up the good work...

Thank you Snezica and John...I will surely have to try something...I dont have a bike but can swim every day....in one sentence when I read Atkins it says don't go below 1500 calories and then elsewhere I read go to a lower calorie count...I guess I will start to tweak like you said John... It is going to happen one way or another to meet my goal weight..so it needn't play around with me...LOL LOL
