HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Woohoo! we made it! Well, I made it 'til today. Work isn't going to be very fun today but I will be busy so hopefully it goes verrrrrry quickly!!

Pretty excited for tomorrow! Hubster and I are looking at 4 houses, one of which I REALLY like. So cross your fingers for me that he does too (he's uber picky!). THEN, we are going to see the Broadway tour of Lion King!!!! I am soooo excited, I have wanted to see it since it opened in New York. Omg, so pumped! He, on the other hand, is a little terrified. He's never been to an actual theater or seen a professional musical. He saw commercials for it and was like "THIS is what I'm going to??"...so hopefully he isn't a turd. HE bought me the tickets for our anniversary and I said I'd take my friend if he didn't want to go, but he opted for going so hopefully, once again, he isn't a turd.

We're supposed to get our first big snowfall tomorrow, I love looking at winter from inside my nice cozy house. But I do not like driving or having to be IN winter. I hate being cold and the people on my commute are awful enough without the added slipperyness....yikes....Might take up cross-country skiing though. I'm not a fan of downhill skiing so maybe I can do this while hubby goes down the slopes. I feel bad never wanting to go because he really likes to but he won't go without me (isn't he sweet?).

That's about it for me, folks! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)

I love a good Broadway show. I've never seen The Lion King production, but have seen Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Wicked, and (wait for it) The Lord of the Rings. Some books, movies, etc., were never meant to be a Broadway musical...Lord of the Rings is in this category. Enjoy your show!

The Lion King is one of my favorites. You are going to love what they do with life-sized puppets. Enjoy

The Lion King should be a great show, hope both you and your hubby enjoy it. I'm with you on the snow, it's pretty but driving in it is not fun. I commute about 80 miles a day in Washington DC area traffic and it's bad enough without adding winter weather to the mix. Hope house hunting goes well too. :)

I'm really excited about the show (not the snow)...I did summer stock theater and school theater all through high school and a few shows in college...I absolutely love theater, I've seen so many shows I could never name them all...only a few Broadway caliber tours: Rent (twice, omg love), Phantom of the Opera (twice, omg love again), Mamma Mia, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, and West Side Story

Sounds like you have such an exciting weekend planned! I've never seen the Lion King production, but I would love to go. Seems so interesting the way they do the animals, I hope you enjoy and that your husband doesn't kill some of the fun by being a turd, haha. Skiing (either type) is not my thing... I'm just awkward at it, haha, and the cold certainly doesn't motivate me either! Good luck on the house hunting as well!

The Lion King? You women will never understand us. The first musical you take a guy to is either Bridge over the River Kwai or Terminator (the original one with Arnold, not the one with Mr. Bean. Just sayin'). :D Have fun.

Bri, I have gone once and I didn't even make it to the hill to be honest, I fell down and twisted my ankle and then sat in the snow while everybody else went....

Haha NM, I said I would like him to go but I had a backup already in place if he didn't want to...I'm sure Terminator would be more fun for him though lol

I'm just trying to keep it real. :D

Awww, that's sad that you didn't even make it to the hill. Maybe you should try again, maybe you are more coordinated now? :)

Haha I know...the tickets were for me to go and he had the option to or not to...I like a lot of the same things he does (motorcycles, boating, sports) so I think he felt like he should attempt one of the things we DON'T have in common...I'm sure this will be a "one and only" time lol
