Happy Friday!

Home again from my trip downstate and today is another official weigh-in day. Thankfully I lost a quarter of a pound. I wasn't sure if I might have even gained weight because I got no real exercise and although I tried to stick with my new meal plan, I was away from home and that is always tricky. My food log is not very accurate because I pretty much had to guess what I was eating.

I came home with an added guest...a cold! My throat is very scratchy and my head is starting to feel like a balloon. I hope as I start moving around and I get on my exercise bike the endorphins will kick in and I'll perk up a bit.

My mom is doing great and I can't be more pleased with the progress my niece Jillian is making. The doctors have come up with a pain management "cocktail" that is working for her and hour-by-hour we can see improvement. Now I'm back home and I need to get the house in order for another college group to come Sunday afternoon to use the pool and the campfire pit for one of their meetings. I also plan to go grocery shopping this afternoon to make sure I have healthy food on hand.

Make your weekend memorable!
