Lots of questions floating around my head. Why the stall and how to fix it? is just the tip of the iceberg!!! Looking at so many variables is making me dizzy.I am already getting all my water,cut out sugar free snacks/crystal light,upping fat intake...waiting for that ketostix to turn purple...PURPLE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR!!!

Diet Calendar Entry for 06 April 2011:

Patience is virtue, darling...in my experience I don't feel I can make an accurate judgment about whether something is working or not until it's been in place at least 3 weeks. Focus on your main induction principles, 20 net carbs, at least 12 g foundation veggies, limit articial sweeteners, lots of water, regular exercise. If you ask me that's already plenty to work on, lol! Sometimes when I feel like nothing's happening I pick something to focus on, these days I'm trying to train myself to eat slower. One month I focused on improving my lifting technique. There are so many nuances to weight loss that it's really impossible to run out of things to work on.

Thanks K...I am at the same weight for almost a month...trying to keep positive and figure this out... I am not quitting!

Gigi, are you counting total carbs or net carbs?

Speaking of Iceburg... I just went back thru your food journals. Today you have 1/2 cup of Iceburg ??? That is too little. Just for now, try focusing on eating your 12-15g's of foundational veggies EVERY DAY. Have a nice big salad at lunch, and another at dinner. And then 1/2 -1 cup of a side veggie at dinner too. When you are tracking... look to add up just the veggies to see how you are doing. Add in the other remaining 5-7 carbs around that. (that doesn't leave you much ... so be careful.) I can see several mistakes you are starting to correct this week... so don't look back at this stall... look forward - get through the next 2 weeks on a clean Induction and see if it moves after that! You can certainly do this... you are close...just need to tweek it a little more. Much Love.
