Well....It looks like eating steak works for me. Interesting. I have eaten steak for the past 3 days, and have experienced a half pound weight loss each day. Looks like: "Steak. It's what's for dinner!" lol.
210.5 lb Lost so far: 24.5 lb.    Still to go: 15.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 18 September 2014:
1445 kcal Fat: 87.95g | Prot: 101.63g | Carb: 69.90g.   Breakfast: Kroger Carbmaster Banana Cream Pie Yogurt, Dole Bananas. Lunch: Crunch Pak Organic Sweet Apple Slices, Boiled Egg, Iceberg Lettuce (Includes Crisphead Types), Kirkland Signature Extra Lean Ham. Dinner: Outback Steakhouse Ribeye (10 oz), Vegetable Oil, Butter, Roland Wasabi Paste in Tubes. Snacks/Other: bigs Bigs Sunflower Seeds Sizzlin Bacon. more...

It's the protein, not nescessarily the steak. I don't know if I would eat red meat every day. Mixing it up with lot's a different proteins should work too. But great job!
