Good morning everyone! Had a great relaxing weekend with the husband and kiddos, and even kicked ass nutritionally. My Browns won yesterday, and it doesn't get much better than that! I didn't get much for physical activity in, but I'm okay with that.

Saturday we went out to a park then to the mall. Just getting out. We stopped and ate at Denny's and I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fresh veggies. Glad I ordered it without any seasoning because the sodium content for that sandwich alone was around 2500mg, lord! I would be interested in knowing just how much sodium I saved myself, but your guess is as good as mine.

Yesterday was a lazy day. Stayed home all day, watched football, cleaned and laundry. I regret nothing lol. Oh, I did some strength training at home so I guess it wasn't that lazy. The husband and kids all wanted burger king for dinner, and since I didn't much feel like cooking and cleaning up the mess I gave in. I had leftover chili, and amazingly didn't feel like I was missing out while they ate their poison... eh, fast food. Going to try to have more of a plan for meals on the weekends as I really don't like feeding the kids that crap. My bad.

The drop on the scale isn't bad, but I still feel like it isn't quite reflecting how I've been feeling. I feel lighter and my clothes are looser, so I will patiently wait for the number to follow my body. Being a woman I am all too familiar with how the body likes to hold on to water like we have a severe drought in the future. Going to step up the intensity in my workouts though, and I have a date with the husband at the gym tonight for a power hour. One hour on the elliptical working as hard as I can. I might take the dog for a walk today too. I have a busy day booked, grocery shopping, bill paying, and all the other joys of running a household. Grateful there is no class tonight, looking forward to spending the evening with my family.
