Keep doing what you are doing. Sometimes the smallest thing can affect your weight loss. One thing could also be that your body is adjusting to lower weight levels. However I am a firm believer that if you do what you are supposed to do it will come off.

Your body could be holding water weight..It will drop, if you continue those exercises your bound to see a significant drop soon..do not give up..it will happen.

Maybe alternate the types of exercise you're doing. Muscle memory sometimes kicks in, and your body finds the repetitive exercise easy so you don't get the same kind of workout you did at the beginning.

sometimes a simple thing like medication or a temporary spike in sodium intake, or stress can cause a plateau in weight loss. Remember not to weigh yourself more than ONCE a week.

Onemiamidolfan, you and I started this new lifestyle change within a week of each other so I can very much relate to your distress. I made a plan for the times my scale doesn't show my progress in hopes those things would be motivational and get me through emotionally. I took body measurements, I took a selfie-photo in front of my full-length mirror, and I have put aside a pair of pants that fit well on the day I started this change. My plan is to check my progress against those other markers when the scale does not cooperate. I also decided when the scale does not motivate and discourages instead, I would weigh-in less often. My DS says weighing-in on days he doesn't lose weight is MORE motivational to him...I am just the opposite, I have to fight a tendency to just give in to my cravings with a "what's the use?" attitude. If you are like me I suggest you stay off the scale for a few days to a week and see what happens.

Make sure you have been hydrating properly! When I don't get enough water my weight will not move but when I balance for a day or two my weight drops! If you are working out a lot, water intake should be more then standard.

Hang in there. You never know what tomorrow may bring. I've been hovering at my current weight for a while. I know that I feel better when I eat healthily and when I exercise appropriately for my size, age & strength. So, regardless of what the scales "says", I'm saying "I'm hangin' in here!" Don't quit before the miracle....

Weigh yourself after the first month, that is what the gym has taught me, allow your body enough time to adjust to your new diet/exercise routine. Allow muscle/fat to shift and your body time to lose the weight. Its so hard, but the scales are not always the best way to track your progress, measuring cms/inches is better. I like the selfie idea, take one a month you will surely notice the difference! Best of luck to you.
