This has been one of the hardest things I have ever done. Changing my diet has been a struggle, mostly because I can't get the hubby to give up some of my faves. Working again, having the family, now we have chickens, and then there is the garden, not to mention the housework. I am done by the time I get done with all that, and I don't want to do anymore. I know, excuses are like...well let's stick to the G rating - there should be NO excuses. I know this, yet I CANNOT stop myself from eating & make myself exercise.

Exercise doesn't necessarily have to be 30 minutes on the treadmill. You can focus on being active. Put on music while you do some housework and dance. You might feel stupid, but you burn calories and it makes it kind of fun. Put on a pedometer each morning and aim for 10,000 steps a day. It helps you be more aware and take more steps. Get a workout video and do it a few times a week. During your lunch break at work, go for a short walk after you eat. It all adds up.
