Attempting again to have a sweetener free week LOL. Also I have been thinking that I seem to lose better when I have less chicken and more red meat - odd huh???? Of course the meat is twice the price of the chicken!

It is cooler today, I am even wearing my polar fleece! Some trees are starting to change to autumn colours, early ones. Makes me excited that autumn is coming! Here is an old photo from 2006 at the height of the autumn colurs...

I can't wait till it gets like that again! The photo was taken by me in our local gardens.

What I am thankful for today:

My darling husband
That God has the right job out there for me
That my bird is quiet for now! LOL
That our chimney is kinda safe (at least until we light it!)
For the cooler weather! Yay!

Hugs to everyone that reads this! May you have an incredibly awesome day!

What a pretty picture! I so miss autumn colors and spring colors and even winter snow. There's nothing like living in a seasonless place (I hope your sarcasm meter is going off). We do have hot weather season and then hotter, hurricane season so there's that. By the way, New Zealand is at the very top of my dream travel list. I had convinced my husband to go this past summer, but bills and joblessness for me and a new job for him got in the way. I'm trying to persuade him to go and work on a farm/vineyard/orchard but he thinks he's too old for that and I'm 4 years older than him and I would so do it. Those chooks (that's what they're called I think) don't have much fat on them do they? Adding a little cream sauce helps. Good luck to you on the sweetener free week. I know you can do it.

So where are you Cbreeze? Sounds like Florida maybe? If you ever come to NZ - let me know first! You must come to Christchurch, best city in New Zealand LOL. Umm the chooks :p are drumsticks so they have skin on them but not much I guess fatwise. I do tend to have a bad habit of eating just them for a quick meal and nothing with them....

I live about 20 miles north of Miami in a city called Hollywood, but no movie stars in this Hollywood. I'm originally from the midwest though where there are seasons, but we moved here from living in the Carribean so at least there are now a few days where I can wear a sweater and long pants. I would love, love, love to go to Christchurch. Hopefully someday soon.
