Baby ... it's cold outside!!! 0 degrees Fahrenheit this morning in the beautiful Idaho Panhandle!! Brrr, shiver, shiver!! I'm close to my half way point ... only 3.2 lbs more to go. Internally I'm still working on fully embracing the reality that I will NEVER be "done" and that there really isn't a "hurry" to reach any specific weight. It is difficult. I find myself just wanting to be at my goal weight. Looks like I need to practice patience ... slow and steady wins the race, right? I am excited though at the same time. Most of the clothes in my closet actually fit. I can wear things I haven't worn for a while. Even though I'm still quite a ways from my goal I actually feel thin.
Surprise, Surprise!! I thought my "color" wouldn't change until I was at my half way point but it changed today!! I am now "yellow" ... wahoo!!!!

I was really excited the first time I saw Orange (although now I'm back in Red) - Yellow had to make you ecstatic!! Congrats on being so close to your halfway point!! It's inspiring and I'm going to keep pushing through so I can see some Yellow too!

Let's here it for Yellow....I know that feeling of "feeling thin" but still being far from the ultimate goal. I do struggle with the patience thing. Every time I have lost weight before I have been able to lose like 35-40 pounds in 3 months. This time I am looking at like 20. But it feels better and way more permanent this way. The toughest part for me is that after almost 20lbs I am still looking at 48 more. At 220 I still look pretty much the same..I can carry 20-30 extra without it changing my looks a lot. But at 190 or 172...now that is going to take some adjustment. Keep up the excitement and stay warm.....
