I had a doctor appointment today for a "well checkup" so I could get prescriptions refilled. My doctor pointed out to the intern that was with him that I have lost 100 lbs. since my heaviest weight. He was very pleased with my weight and all the activity I have been doing. My blood pressure was 120/80. He wants me to have blood work done so it will be interesting to see if those numbers have improved.

I signed up to do a Muddy Cheer Challenge in August and a Color Vibe race in May. Both are 5k and they are for the FUN of it.

What an invigorating and encouraging experience that must have been! I don't have such dramatic results, but I am looking forward to my physical in June for the same reason. My health is more important to me than a number on the scale. Your two 5K's sound GREAT! Have a blast!

Thank you for all your comments. Listen to the little voice in your head that is telling you....if she can do it...I can too!!! If you overeat don't beat yourself up, just make better choices at your next meal or the next day. Do some type of activity every day according to your fitness level. We need to eat to feed our bodies not our emotions.

Feeding my emotions has come to a hault since I'm off of sugars, flours and milk! Oh I still crave them, but now when I'm emotional its just not the same going after a piece of baked chicken or taking the time to tear up lettuce. lol!! Congratulations on all you've accomplished and your great BP!!
