I am 60 years old.
I am a diabetic and 230 lbs.
I am a couch potato.
I had a heart attack in 2009 and had two stents put in and no damage to my heart.
One year later I had another stent put in.
I have been on medicine for my diabetes for 5 months and still struggling to get to safe levels. I do not want to move around. I eat very healthy, but I have a hard time limiting myself to serving sizes of veggies. I did not want to accept that there are a lot of carbs in veggies.
I lost my job and we are on a very limited income, so it is hard to buy healthy food. I don't buy unhealthy but very limited on good stuff. I am not whinning, just being honest. I had to quit weight watchers which I liked. This site is my answer to my prayers. This week has already been great. I have done 3 low impact zumba songs, 3 time this week, walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 1/3 mph. I have just so much time to do what I have to do to get healthy and tired of wasting it.
