DAY 4 of "The 100" by Jorge Cruise:(Thursday)

Another fitful night,I'm suspecting it was caused by different things:I'm apparently sill in menopause as my night sweats have returned, keeping my hair which has grown somewhat longer than I care for, stuck on my neck,& making sleep uncomfortable for me;my knee-cap that I fell on earlier in the week was reminding me,each time I bent it,that it still isn't quite right yet. I uncovered & placed a hand on my knee to massage it only to find it was what I considered warmer than it should have been,so I reached for my other knee...yep. My injured knee needs more care than what I was giving it. On top of all this my stomach was letting me know it was still fasting. Didn't matter at the moment, none of it was getting attended to until I got some sleep.

I rolled out of bed about 9:30 & I guess my hunger had been satisfied with pulling from my fat reserves because I was no longer hungry.

Lunch came about 1:00 & I fixed a veggie sandwich on toast & lemon water.

Dinner is recorded & taken from the book(considered 6 sugar calories)

NOTES:
My question to Jorge is "awaiting moderation."
I think I'll just go with what I originally thought was the reason behind it unless I learn otherwise.

Another day of the week done & I feel *really* good. Haven't seen the expected weight loss that Jorge claims (18 lbs in 2 weeks) but I did deviate slightly & it hasn't even been 1 week yet.

On to the weekend :D

LOL,I remember when I was younger telling my Mom that I *couldn't wait* to go thru menopause...no more menstral cycles or PMS...didn't guess I understood there were other things to replace what I disliked about being "a girl". :D

I remember when I started my steak experiment that it took several days for me to see the weightloss. Once it started it didn't stop. The only issue was the difficulty eating mostly meat. I think you will see a whoosh sometime soon. How is your energy level so fsr.

I hope there were know night sweats and that you had pleasant rest last night. It will be interesting to see your progress in week two and three. Week one of anything new (for me anyways)seem like a test week. And thanks for posting the lemon water. I will drink some lemon water with cayenne this morning.

I used to wake up with my clothes soaking wet, heart raced a lot too. Do you supplement? I started taking super primrose oil (actually upped all my omega 3 fats) and 400 mg of magnesium. I also don't eat 3-4 hours before bed. Got a nightgown that is soft and has fabric designed to keep the body cool. It's made a big difference, I sleep in comfort and very soundly. No knee problems tho :(

JENN...I haven't noticed *any* changes yet, other than the first day when I woke up hungry. My energy still seems to be on a good level,as I am very active altho' my injured knee at present is holding me back from doing anything that requires a full bend of the knees.
