So I have not been here for a while and apparently I need to be. This is the only site that has everything I need except for my commitment to it. It is so easy for me to indulge my food addictions to carbs and I really need to get it together Almost 160 on a 5'2 frame is just no bueno. So here I go again and I will be a lot more faithful about this.

Thanks so much for the support. I am up just a little today it always does go up for the first day but you give me courage and I am going to keep on.

I hear you, sister! I'm 190 on a 5'5" frame. Pretty close. I only set my goal for 20 lbs. because that is what I weighed 5 years ago and that seemed like a realistic initial goal. I love carbs too, so I struggle with the same issues. My husband was the one who told me about this site. He swears by keeping a faithful food diary and so far it's working for me. Oh, and if I were you I would weigh more than once a week. People's weights go up and down a lot from one day to the next, and one hour to the next. I always weigh in the morning, before breakfast.
