I think our scales may be going on the fritz. I initially thought the batteries were going - changed them - and noticed today it's still doing it. What? It gives me 3 different weights. I stepped on the scale - 227. I wasn't sure I actually saw it (half asleep, no glasses), so I stepped on it again and got - 224.4. As much as I REALLY would like to believe that to be today's number, I doubted. Stepped on the scale a 3rd time - 225.4. Okay, so now we have us a dilemma. I COULD go with one of the lower numbers, yet I did not feel they could possibly be correct. So I stepped on scale for a 4th time - 225.4. Sigh. Going with 227 and rolling with it. Just knowing I may be in the market for another scale.

Today I awoke to having a bad dream about a local town girl - of whom I know of, but have no relationship with - who had disappeared. I saw a news article about it - the boyfriend - who lived in a larger city nearby, was the primary suspect.

Next dream was youth group was supposed to go to my parent's house. Yet they were distracted to go see a gorilla wrestle challengers near an actual barn that is literally on our property. The kids were to pass through the gate and continue on the road - that had potholes on it - very deep potholes that you had to really watch where you walked, else you would tumble in and get hurt. Yet the high school kids and a few middle schoolers took an immediate left and went to watch the gorilla. I yelled at them and it was like I was hoarse - no matter how much I yelled, I never got any louder and they all ignored me until they were ready to leave. I finally walked over there and got 4 kids that weren't in our group, and brought them away from the crowd and told them to wait. I went back and started leading the other kids toward the house. Then noticed it was getting dark and the 4 kids I'd told to wait, were leaving in the opposite direction. So I had to avoid potholes and ran back to catch up with them. Meanwhile, the teens had arrived and looked at me like I had lost my mind. Woke up still trying to figure out why we had kids of all ages - from 3 to teen in youth group.

Need I say today's workout was great? Didn't want to do it - Turbo Fire 45. Did it anyway. Sweated like a Quarter Horse.

Then received 2 texts before 7am. And a call around 7am. Then had another call which I chose not to take as I was trying to eat breakfast and get out of the house to work.

Sigh.

Happy Wednesday!!!

P.S. Came in office, popped a peanut butter cookie and some Cheez-its immediately. Good thing I got those out of the way!
