My motivation is already gone. I can not figure out why I get so bummed and give up so quickly. I see the scale going up instead of down, so know I am eating too much protein or something as I have kept carbs down compaired to in past. Trying to think of what I can do with this hypothyroid severe problem before I become diabetic too.

Some people do better when they track all their food on Atkins. Play around with calories. Drink your water. I have a friend on with thyroid problems and she says exercise is a huge help. If you are able (and don't already) start an exercise program. A combo of weight training and cardio is great (check with doctor to sure). Building muscle mean you will burn calories at rest which will result in more weight loss and easier maintenance. Start with baby steps. Walking is a great way to go. "Walk Away The Pounds" are great workout dvds to start working out with too. If you can afford it, a visit to a nutritionist who can help you with an individual plan might help too. Good luck!
