Had a VERY bad weekend. I didn't exercise or track ANYTHING. I stayed home all weekend and except for some light cleaning and laundry, I pretty much kept to the couch. I am VERY scared to even look at my scale. I have a few more days until the end of the week in my challenges so hopefully by keeping on track until then the number wont be so bad by the time I do get up the courage to step on it.

Girl it's time for tough love. It's a new year, new you! You had a bad weekend, now put it behind you. Write down all the reasons why you want to lose weight and put them where you can see them. Now get up off the couch and go step on the scale and own whatever it says. Now it's time to get motivated. If you can't find your motivation, use your determination. There are some good fitness magazines out now. Get a few and read them. Get a cork board from (Walmart-pretty cheap) and make yourself an inspiration. Put pictures, quotes, recipes, etc. on it to keep you going. Get a new workout outfit. Go on amazon and get a new workout dvd. Get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. Take a new class. As you lose and get stronger, you will start to feel amazing. Aim for 10% of your current weight. New year, new you! Now get moving! Don't make me come back here! Lol!

Suzi161, thank you. I need tough love. I know what I have to do. I need to keep myself motivated. I think it's a good idea to keep inspirational things around my desk at work and at home. I get lazy at times and I tend to lose sight of why I'm doing this for myself.
