Good morning!

82.1 kilos today!

It seems like the massive water intake and the "close-to-zero-carbs" is doing its thing.

I'm down 1.8 kilos since yesterday, and it looks like it's by far most fluid. This is a good thing.

Last time I reached 82.1 kilos, I had a body fat percentage of 13.8. Today it says 11.5. This is awesome. This is what shows the REAL results.

...

I probably had about 2 - 2½ gallon of water yesterday. A LOT. It really helped rinse out my whole system, I guess.

I'm no expert on this, but I have experienced that excess water intake for a couple of days can help shedding fluid, and this definitely proves the point.

I do have to add to the story that I only had about 1000 calories, all eggs and meat. 11g of carbs, TONS of protein.

I think it's a little of everything that did it. I'm gonna continue that same path today, and see if I can FINALLY nudge the weight below 82. It's been a long time since I hit that weight. It would be great to go lower for the surgery.

...

I only have today and tomorrow left at work, then I'm on sick leave. Surgery is in three days.

I can't wait to have it done. Well, I can't wait to get to MOVE ON!

This is really more the part I'm looking forward to. Obviously, I'm not looking forward to getting cut, to have to recover and all that. But I'm looking forward to getting the little belly skin removed, getting grips on the NEW life, getting even more in shape, and getting stronger and fitter.

I'm ready to put in the work, I just need to be situated right.

...

I can't wait to get going on TRUE maintenance.

I'm dying to find out whether my ideas for it really are waterproof. I'm dying to find out how muscle building and maintenance goes hand in hand. There is so much new to learn in this field, and I want to gather that knowledge.

It's the obvious next step that I need to make.

...

Also, I changed my goal weight. I upped it a couple of kilos. I figured it was time to move it up. Muscle mass is still growing, and I don't think I'll ever get back down to 80 kilos. This is DEFINITELY a good thing.

Every time I look in the mirror, I get a nice reminder of why it shouldn't be 80, 77 or 75 any more. I'm in SO MUCH better shape. So much more obvious muscle mass, and I am loving it.

I can't wait to get more of this. :)

...

So, today's tasks are:

- TONS of water. I have my alarm set to go off every hour.

- Eggs and meat for lunch.

- Meat only for dinner.

- Absolutely no snacks.

- FULL focus.

...

I have most things set at work, so I think today will be fairly smooth. I can easily make my mission, and hopefully see more good results tomorrow.

...

I feel like I should be stressing and panicking over being so close to surgery, but I'm really not. I'm stressing a little over work, but I'm calming down on this too.

Things are pretty good. It's just a matter of getting going. Just waiting for the time to come.

...

There is no gym for me this morning. I went yesterday, as I realized that I could get to squeeze ONE extra workout in by doing that. Instead of going today (Monday) I got to go Sunday and then Tuesday.

It was great being there. I had a good talk with a couple of people who read the paper and saw the article. One had actually liked it so much, he cut it out and hung it on the fridge for motivation. Wow. How about that?

...

There really isn't all that much to tell today. Things are great. The plan is laid out, and seemingly working. It's all good.

...

Today, I'm thankful for:

- Well laid plans.

- Wife.

- Coffee.

- Three days left.

Life is good!

Awesome, Keld! Whoa! I didn't realize surgery was only 3 days away. I'm amazed you doing so well, knowing that is coming soon! Can't wait to see some after photos after a month or two. Maybe you should wait to revise your goal weight until after you see how much they remove. Best wishes, sir!

Congrats Keld, you are so prepared for surgery. Mentally as well as physically and that will totally help in the recovery phase. Countdown continues :)

Who knows how much skin weight that they will be removing as well. You should come out weighing less than when you went in...except if you have swelling as it heals. That's a good thing! Good luck on the surgery and be well my friend.
