Not weighed in a while and not happy with the results. 165 this morning and don't know why. If you folks could look over things for me in my foods, any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I can come up with is adding exercise, but that doesn't really make sence either. Good and bad suggestions are welcome. I want to hear it loud and clear. Thanks in advance.:)

Good morning, sorry your weight isn't cooperating. I took a look at your food diary. Your net carbs seem high but you are OWL so perhaps that's where you are supposed to be? Its just in the last few days that its been up, your carbs that is. Perhaps too with the exercise, 'they' say that when you first increase your exercise your body holds on to fluids to repair the muscles, and the muscles get kinda pumped up til they heal. If you are eating right and exercising right, the weight will adjust itself, you just gotta be patient - not so easy to do. I am sure you are frustrated 'cause you are doing everything by the book. I am sure Stef will have some better insight for you when she gets going later today. Hang in there and hope your Friday is great despite being a bit ticked off at the scale.

Thank you so much Is for taking the time to look things over for me. I am in OWL. but let me tell you, it is some hard to keep the carbs consistant from day to day. Some days I am right on and other days(when out and about), I'm off. With the clients schedule, my schedule and my grnadsons doctor appointments, it is hard to be home a lot. Oh well, we can do just what we can do.:) Hope you have a wonderful day and thank you again.:)

No problem, wish I could help. I am scared to move into OWL but will have to move into it sooner than later. At least I know who to go to for help. Hoping to 'maintain' for a bit after I reach 199 lb. You mentioned clients - what do you do?

Laurie, I would have looked at your menus but to be honest I could not be bothered! Lol seriously I don't always know what I'm doing and as I'm still in induction I can't really advise! Sorry I can't help but maybe Paula can! Like sarahs mum said it could just be the exercise or even stress about those high heels and whip! Lol

Right, forgot about the high heels! Did you take them off when you weighed in, and did you put the whip down? LOL.

Laurie, most likely it is the increase in exercise. I am experiencing the same thing, but I have actually cut back on my exercise, so not sure what the heck is going on. Might be tied to the change in the weather too. Our bodies are mysterious things sometimes, aren 't they? What about your measurements? Remember, when the scale doesn't move, check the tape measure. Hang in there girlfriend. The scale will start moving again! I'll check your food diary and see if anything jumps out at me.

Laurie, when did you add the bread? It might be that you are adding too many carbs that have a high Glycemic Index number and are converted to sugar too easily. The low carb bread and the hot cereal in particular. I just think that even though the net carbs are low, the total carbs may be a bit high. Try cutting back a bit on that and see what happens.

Laurie, a friend took me to Priscilla's. Nice place to keep things warm in the bedroom. My hubby hasn't complained:)lol:) Does anyone know how to count that kind of activity? I didn't see it on the exercise chart.

LOL! Cindy, I believe I recall that "boom boom" burns 1200 calories! LOL Now, if you go to swinging whips and all, it could to a whole lot more....that would be quite a cardio workout, you know.... :D

Laurie :) May be its water retention for exercise or may be its winter?I'm seeing in Atkins site this pattern for few years now, that weight loss slows down in winter season.I can't stick with Atkins for long myself but I'm doing it on and off since 2007.So my suggestions are based on experience and comments from Atkins site :) And thank you once again for continuous care and support when I fall in depression.Today I'm doing better.

I may be the combination of exercise and a few too many carbs. I noticed around the end of October and through the first part of November you were keeping your total carbs around 47. Lately they have been around 60. It is so hard! Exercise at least for me makes me want to eat more and I hold onto more waterweight. Maybe just having either the low carb bread or the cereal but not both. Good Luck! I know you can do this!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to look through things for me. Laura, that may be the culprit. At least I sure hope so. Cindy you are just too funny. No Pricilla's here. Don't think I could handle it anyway.lol Is, no heels here. I can't walk in the things. I just fall all over myself.lol Evie, The boom boom.lol Not much of that here at all. Stef, I just got the bread and cereal not long ago. That may be it too. Lotus, that may also be some of it with the water, because since exercising, my muscles feel more tense so they may be holding onto it. Again, thank you all so much.

With everyone scrutinizing your food diary, I thought I'd look at something different - your weight chart. It almost appears that every month, at least recently, you have a slight uptick in your weight....9/17, 10/10, and now 11/12...before you continue your downward path. Perhaps this is just a normal thing for your body??

I never even gave that a thought Sandy. Maybe it is just the hormones and seeings I don't have TOM any longer, it might be when it is suppose to happen.lol Hopefully I will get a WHOOSH soon. Again, thanks so much to all my FS family. hugs, hugs.:)
