I had a really good day today. I worked out, and then for lunch I ate a turkey sandwich and a side of potato salad at my favorite barbeque restaurant. When I came in they said "No pulled pork or ribs?" This is what I usually get there. But I stuck firm to turkey! Then at work I managed to keep my eating under control and had a Lean Cuisine. I had enough calories saved to have a veggie burger when I came home from work. I am back on track, and have strung 4 days together where I haven't gone too much over my RDI. I look back on October and it's pretty sad - I regained and lost 5 pounds TWICE due to poor eating choices, and I wasted a whole month on two or three days of eating poorly. It's amazing - now that I weigh myself daily, if I eat poorly just one day, I will gain a pound the next day. If I eat poorly two days in a row, I will gain three pounds or more. I can't believe how easily I gain weight! I've just got to stay on track until Thanksgiving - I am going to allow myself Thanksgiving Dinner, so we will see if I can lose some by then.
