Yes you can do it!! :) I'm rootin' for ya. :) We will have bad days and your taking the right approach to start a new today. Yesterday is the past and there is nothing we can do to change what occured but we can take the reins back and pull them horses back on the right track. :) When I first started this journey, I had many days that I lost my way, not saying I don't have those days now but they are minimal now. I actually got mad at myself and then all of a sudden a light came on and realized that I was not doing myself right by doing great all day and then the night came I would fall off the wagon, taking everything I accomplished during the day and throwing it out the window. As time went on I have managed to get myself through those evenings by either choosing a better snack or jumping on my elliptical machine for just 5 mins and the urge to go get a snack went away and the water I drank helped take it away too. One thing that I also noticed that if I didn't eat at least most of what I should, I would be starving by dinner. And would blow it by having a second serving, smaller then the first but still to much. I started making sure I would have a little something healthy an hour before dinner. Whether it be a piece of fruit or whatever is allowed for the plan I'm on. This really helped me for my dinner and later in the evening. Now I'm seeing a nutritionist and I eat from all food groups but watch for the nutritional value and how much. But I still take the same approach. Oh I still watch the calorie intake.

The key is to get right back on that stupid wild horse that tries to buck you off and trample you!! Don't let the horse trample you, you're better then that!

Have you examined why things went wrong? Did you have a plan for what you were going to eat for dinner? Did you have a healthy snack handy that you could eat if you started craving something? I am a night eater. I don't get to craving food until the evening. When I sit down to watch TV or to work on the computer, then I want a snack. I also have no problem eating a small lunch, but I want a real meal in the evenings. I plan my meals so that I can have a larger meal in the evening. I snack on a few sugar free bread and butter pickles, a serving of fat free Pringles, or cucumber slices while I cook supper. When I get to feeling hungry I make a cup of hot green tea and drink it before I eat something. Sometimes I find I don't need to eat anything and others I will still eat a snack. I also try to plan my meals for the entire week so I know what I am going to eat in the evening. That way I have all the ingredients and have defrosted the meat ahead of time. (If I don't have a plan for dinner, we will end up going out to eat. Often at a restaurant that is not a good choice for my diet.) By finding what triggers your eating you may be able to avoid getting off track. And remember to start fresh today! Don't let what happened yesterday hinder today's successes.

Thanks so much all of you! I have done way better today.. Now is when it really kicks in... I do need to get some healthy snacks. I just get crazy in thwe evenings.. I have been without a job for a year now and I tell ya, it is hard being here all day.. Tomorrow I do have an interview the first one I have had since May! I get bored and I eat, think I need to have somethng sweet... I don't need it... So am trying to stay busy this evening.....I have already had 25 points today, (my limit 23) so not so bad.... I will take 2 off tomorrow! I think not doing this alone is really going to help also... I have a roommate and she can eat anything... Thanks again all!!
