Day 32 (Week 5): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST
Good morning all you wonderful health-minded lovely FS peoples!!!
So I have lost some focus the last few days. Time to get back on track. I recorded a weigh in this morning but I hope it is not an accurate one. I need to record the gain though because I had been shrugging it off too lightly, I guess. Tiem to get back on track. It's 5:15 and I am heading to the gym in a few short minutes but I felt I needed to get this journal in first to amke sure my focus is solid.
Over 30 days in the challenge! Hard to believe. I have come a long way but I have a long way yet to go. Today I need to take the information I have and decide on my Oct carb goal. I also need to add on what I want to lose for Christmas for the 1lb/week challenge.
So I need to lose 6 lbs this week...a lot SHOULD be water weight and it might still be doable but I need to keep focus eat healthy (not starve) and exercise which I was distinctly lacking last week mostly due to being a wimp while sick :)
Floor Goal: 250 (13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 16.5 down from when I first started watching in August, and 6 from now.) This might have to be by October 10th or so, instead. we shall see how the week goes. Mid-range: 245 Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 11 from now. Still totally doable. Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. I can SO do this. I have 2 months left :) 28 from challenge start, 21 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching.
And for The Christmas Challenge the new ceiling goal will be 230!! The other two goals will remain the same until I actually reach them, THEN I might readjust everything.
1st things first. Get myself to 250 (almost there!!!! WOW), then 245 then worry about the others!
Update: 8:25AM So the gym was great! My treadmill time was a little less intense than last week, I think I may be still under the weather a bit. I still did 30 minutes and kept my heart rate over the "fat burn" rate for my age bracket. I did not hit cardio this week (did 15 mins of cardio level heart rate last week) but since fat burn is the goal I am proud of myself for doing this this morning. I walked 1.5 miles at various speeds and burned about 218 calroies according to the machine. I did a shortened round on the weight machines making sure I did my abs, legs and back of the arms since those areas are my focus and I did not quite have time for the whole circuit.

Edit to add: So the first week Of October Counting Carbs challenge, I am going to shoot for 175 NC - I am going to use FS method even though I know it is not exact. I will take measurements tonight.
