Am so thrilled I dropped 2 pounds this week. I took Irishgirl57's advice and researched the ketogenic diet and made sure my fat intake went up and my protein intake wasn't too high. Reading the book on Kindle "Primal Body, Primal Mind" and although a bit more scientific than I normally read, very fascinating. The research keeps changing and am now viewing some of the things I was eating in a new light: ie, soy isoflavones can increase blood clotting. Having just had a P.E. this caught my attention!
Anyway.....thanks Irishgirl57 and hope everyone has the blue skies and sunshine I'm looking at today!
ps- my good friend Shelley Sims has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. If you can keep her in your prayers, I'd be grateful. If you belong to a church with a prayer circle, please put her name in?
