GilmoreGirl's Journal, 21 September 2010

I'm feeling out of control! Last night I ate a whole sleeve of oreos. About 20 points worth of processed cookie product. This was following an amazing workout, but one that only earned me 8 activity points. And I was out of my 35 weekly points. So, my point is (hehe) that I am 20 points in the hole for the week.

Luckily, that can be made up with activity points. If I earn 20 activity points by Saturday, I will have "made up" for my mistake and still possibly have a loss this week.

It all depends on me. If I get back on track TODAY, RIGHT NOW, THIS VERY SECOND, I can lose weight this week. More importantly, I could start feeling better. :-) So, that is my pledge to myself, and to my FS buddies, to get back on track. Here's the plan for today:

breakfast- banana (1.5) and granola bar (4)
lunch- wasa crackers (2), 1/2 cup ff refried beans (1), 1/2 cup salsa (0), 1 tsp EVOO (1), carrot sticks (0)
dinner- 1 cup brown rice (4), 1/2 cup black beans (1), 1 tsp EVOO (1), bell pepper, romaine lettuce, tomato, garlic, onion (0)
snacks- 9.5 points left, still need both dairies. Not sure what to eat, but I'll think of something. But NOT OREOS. :-)
activity- 60 minutes Nordic Track (+6)

Oreos. Can't eat just one. One sleeve that is. LOL. It's so easy to eat a whole sleeve of those things. Especially if you have a nice cold glass of milk. But, like you said, you can start right now feeling good and eating better. Good luck with that.

Girl I feel your oreo pain! My son wanted to put them in the cart and I actually almost said no because I was THAT unsure of my self control lol. It happens, you've got a plan set, and I'm sure you'll be back to losing!

Yeah, I just ate an entire container of them - over 2-3 days. I think your lucky if one entire sleeve is only 20 points!!!! They are so yummy, especially with that milk, much tastier than the Vienna Fingers I ate last night after I polished off the Oreos... Anyway, you have the bonus points for a reason, so you used them. Maybe next time use them for something a little healthier... easier said than done, I know! Have a good one!

I did the math- one sleeve is 18 points. Those are double stuff oreos. :-) I guess that I am lucky!

Mine werent double stuffed, though I did eat more than just one sleeve... When I eat stuff like that, I don't even bother looking at the nutritional information, because I know its just gona be B-A-D! lol And in my own defence, I bought them (and the Vienna Fingers) to make something with them (Oreos for "dirt" and the Vienna Fingers for grave stones), not just because I wanted to eat them all... unfourtinatly, they called me, and I had no choice but to eat them! lol

momo, I hear ya! k8yk, I'm only in the Blue club until I reach my next mini-goal of 170, then I go back to orange or red (I forget which one) until I get to 155. :-) Thanks for noticing my progress, though!
