Can I lose as much as two stone (28 lbs) by the end of the year? I don't know. Most of my huge weight loss over the past few weeks has been the result of illness. It's not something I either welcome or regret. I'm glad I weigh less, but I'm not happy that I nearly had to die in order to lose as much as I did as quickly as I did.

Dr Navarrete laughed that I'd have no trouble losing weight quickly. I've lost at the rate of a pound a day for almost a month. Although I'm not losing weight that fast now, I'm still going down, mostly because I've resumed my diet. Let's see if I can keep going at the rate of 7-9 pounds per 3 week period, and maybe drop two stone by the end of the year.

If I do, If my weight is around 260 lbs by the end of the year, I'll be back to what I weighed in my early 40s.

You can lose a lot if you keep calories in greater than calories burned. A pound of fat loss is negative 4000 calories, so it takes time. However, if you stick to this plan, it will work. You might try increasing protein and reducing calories. That will prevent you from getting so hungry.
