I got the legs knocked out from under me last night. Massive awful bad news. Dealing with a government bureaucracy that refuses to listen to common sense, has no checks and balances or recourse, and has utter and complete control over my life. I don't get to pay rent this month, apparently. My crime? I didn't break the law. According to them, I should have stolen some money 3 years ago. I just can't win.

I am in pure panic mode right now, just losing my mind. I want All The Chocolate, and to crawl back into bed for the next week. I don't think sticking to the diet is feasible right now, let alone getting all my exercise.

I'm waiting on a call from my lawyer. Everything is on pause until I hear from him, practically holding my breath. Wish me luck.

Liz - Stay strong. You can get through the current mess AND stick to your diet/exercise program. Please keep us updated on your progress.
