i cant remember who posted it but some one posted last month about do you really want this or are you just intrested in weight loss. i have come to the conclussion that i need to look at that... i am not motivated enough to work at this hard enough i am not dedicating my self as i should if i had put more dedication into my lifestyle change if i have gotten this far in this amount of time just think where i would be if i had stuck to it 100% i am the one who chooses and i am the only person i have to blame i am not doing 100% i am only doing what is easy i need to change that around! i need to stop whinning about it and just get up and do it! so this is my attempt to wake the h@## up and get to it! christmas is going to be here before i know it and my personal deadline will come and go and i will not be where i want to be i need to hurry! or i am not going to make it! so get up! and just stop the excuses and the whinning and do it!!!!

RH, alright, you go!!! Get up and get with it!!! We all need to kick ourselves in the rear from time to time and this must be your time. So hang in there, you will succeed and get to the weight you want to be, but don't box yourself in with a firm and hard date. Stick to your new lifestyle, but let your body dictate when you reach your goal, because sometimes, even when we do everything right, the weight loss doesn't cooperate!! So stick you your WOE, do what you hae to do, relax, and take the losses as they come. It isn't a race against evefybody else or a time line, it is your life and the finish line is death! So, just run YOUR race! You'll reach your goal!!

I wish we were neighbors - you could come kick my butt for me and I'd reciprocate. We may be messing up from time to time but the good thing is we are learning our lessons as we go. AND as long as we continue posting on this site - I recon, there's still hope for us!!!!

You've lost 30 pounds since June. Sounds to me like you are doing a hell of a job. Just keep at it.

Yes, go, go, go! Stef is absolutely right in that it's not a race. Instead of focusing on where you'd be if you had been 100% perfect, focus on that 30 pounds you've lost already and give yourself all the credit that you deserve for dropping that much just over the summer. Not too shabby!! And look at all you've been learning about yourself all along the way. Your persistence and determination are inspiring! Keep it up!

thanks guys! and stef you are right i had just hoped that by christmas i would be where i want to be and if i could keep my self from slippin off the edge i would stand a lot better chance of getting the job done i have not given this my all i have not committed my self as i should and its time to check that attitude and work a little at it! oh and by the way???? I LOVE YOU GUYS! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!
