Greetings! Seems like another "lost weekend" here in Minnesota - but the snow is finally melting and we might hit 40 degrees today.
Eating ridiculous stuff yesterday e.g., french fries...geez, really? I am carbohydrate and fat loading to medicate my emotions...it has been a REALLY long time (over one year ago) since I have behaved this way.
I am fortunate my DH gently rocks the boat by reminding me of my goals and the bigger picture - although he is the crazy man who went to Burger King yesterday and thought, "Gee, maybe I will bring her something." What?
I think he is cabin crazy, too. And probably tired of my depressed and whining demeanor...
The great thing is: I just cannot eat poorly every day like I did for years! I just cannot do it! I feel spiritually ill when I eat poorly. It goes against my inner being of what I KNOW to be healthy and good for me.
So, as Winter drags on and on and on in the North Country, I may struggle but I am not lost. I will continue on and believe the sun will someday return!
Let's rock it together!
