Don't think of it as a failure, but just one of life's minor setbacks. Tomorrow is fresh with no mistakes in it, so get a good night's sleep and get back on the horse. We all have failures, it is how you handle the failure that will make all the difference.

You might reconsider if Atkins is the right choice for you. It might be better to simply keep to about 500 calories less than you use every day. I think you tried too hard last week, and starving yourself left you too weak and tired to resist any cravings. Every time you want to eat something this week, drink a big glass of water and wait five minutes, and then see if you still want it. Also, drink a big glass of water, or better, two, a few minutes before every meal to help you realize that you are full. Remember that indulging in refined carbs and sugars leads to crashes and cravings for more of them, in your body's mistaken belief that it will be the pick-me-up that you need. Drink water. Lots of it. And get as much sleep as you can. You can make the right choices when you are thinking clearly, and this will help more than you can imagine. Also, try to get more chlorophyll in your diet - I like ChlorOxygen with Mint, you just dissolve the drops in water. I also highly recommend Amazing Grass - their powdered drinks will give you lots of energy and nutrients - the stuff you are eating is not rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals. Another green - I started taking Chlorella last week and it really seems to be depressing my appetite and giving me lots of energy. There are some pricey brands, but I am on the Vitamin Shoppe brand and it seems fine. One last thought - have you tried hypnosis? I know as a mom it may be hard to find the time, but you can play it as you lay down at night - it doesn't matter if you go to sleep. If you have an iPhone or iPad, or even Android, there are some great, inexpensive apps that might really be the extra hand you need. Best of luck!
