I was trying to get a better feel for how many calories I'm burning and I found this article: http://www.fitday.com/fitness-articles/fitness/weight-loss/calories-burned-doing-household-chores.html

Wow, I know I've been under reporting my calories burned for sure! I mean I have friggin sweat pouring off me at times when I'm making soap and I know I'm burning more than what I had found (92 an hour for cooking) than that! This article makes me realize I burn more than I think I do! Holy cow! I make the bed every day and do a million other things throughout the day. And when I type and work on paperwork, I'm up and down and running out to the shop to check this or that and back to the laptop and running out to the mailbox and on and on.

I got my calories down yesterday and felt fine. I was up finishing some soap at 1:00 am and didn't get to sleep until 3:30-I finally got up and drank a half glass of milk with a teaspoon of pure maple syrup and that knocked me out like a light!

Sometimes I have really awful insomnia. I go through relaxation techniques and EFT and energy exercises and deep breathing. Sometimes I give up and take a Tylenol PM. I hate to do that! I'm wondering if I'm low in something. I did run out of my Calm (magnesium calcium supplement) Maybe I need to reorder that. I've tried numerous things in the past but it has always been due to a lack someplace in my nutrients that kept me wide awake. Time to poke around and figure it out, I'm tired of not being able to go to sleep.
