Since I’ve been going through menopause, I have packed on extra pounds and counting. My current weight is 175, my goal is to lose 30lbs and reach my ideal weight of 145lbs by August. I’m starting with maintaining my carbs intake, and exercise more often.

I am going through menopause as well and let me tell you, "it ain't easy"! My starting weight on this site was 171 and we seem to have the same goals for losing. Just hang in there. My best advice would be to keep track of all food you eat and get out there and walk or go to the gym. I'm not a "gym" person myself - I like the great outdoors, the fresh air and sites. Good luck to you and I'm right there with you on the menopause train!

You my dear made me smile :) It's good to know someone else on this plan can relate to this menopausal saga. I'm not a gym person either, but I love walking the trails, so I'm working up to doing that again. Thank you for your comments - wishing you the best as well.
